Aramco supports young innovators at the World Robotics Olympiad 2025 Nationals

Aramco supported young innovators as the global sponsor of the World Robotics Olympiad (WRO). Two employees from Aramco India – Sabyasachi Dasmohapatra and Vikas Shokeen served as judges in the Future Innovators category at the WRO India National Championship, held in Hyderabad from 5-6 September 2025.
This year’s championship brought together 293 teams from India, competing across 4 categories: Future Innovators, Robo Mission, Future Engineers, and Robo Sports.
Team Tech Tracker qualified for the WRO Open Championship in Saudi Arabia making a proud achievement for India and underlining the country’s growing strength in robotics and innovation.

In the Future Innovators category, the following teams were declared winners and will represent India at the WRO Global Finals in Singapore later this year:
- Elementary (age 8-12): Team Brilliance
- Junior (age 11-15): Team Elite Innovators
- Senior (age 14-19): Team Cosmic Coders
As part of its sponsorship, Aramco’s support to branding was prominently displayed on the table tracks in the Robo Mission category, reinforcing Aramco’s commitment to advancing STEM education and innovation.
The World Robotics Olympiad is one of the world’s largest international robotics competitions, engaging young people from over 90 countries. It provides a global platform to encourage interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by challenging students to design, build, and program robots to solve real-world problems. Through creativity, collaboration, and innovation, WRO helps nurture the next generation of problem-solvers and future ready talent.
