News|
Aramco participated as a Partner sponsor at the 4th edition of the India Energy Week (IEW) 2026 in Goa held from 26-30 January. This sponsorship highlighted Aramco’s commitment to advancing global energy dialogue and engaging with key stakeholders across the energy value chain. The 4th edition of IEW was virtually inaugurated by Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi, who highlighted IEW as a global energy platform and outlined India’s vision for the sector. In his address, the PM emphasized the goal of attracting USD 100 billion in investments in the oil & gas sector by 2030, along with priorities around refining and exports, India-EU deal, LNG & downstream growth, and national energy independence.
Aramco’s sponsorship ensured strong brand visibility across high-impact touchpoints through the event, including registration sponsorship, onsite branding, digital visibility, and engagement activations. Aramco logo was prominently featured across all printed and digital marketing collateral, including the conference program, show dailies, banners, VIP delegate kits, event website, emailers, and the IEW mobile app.
Aramco sponsorship was led by Strategy & Market Analysis (SMA) with participation from other organisations - including Downstream Business Origination, Crude Oil Sales and Marketing, New Energies, Aramco Ventures, and Aramco Asia India. Throughout the event, multiple meetings were convened at the IEW Energy Club, enabling Aramco to engage directly with key partners and to explore potential collaborations across the energy value chain.

The panel was moderated by Ankita Chauhan - Director, Power and Renewables Research, Wood Mackenzie and featured panelists - Michael Train - SVP and Chief, Sustainability Officer, Emerson; Saravan Penubarthi – CTO, AIQ; Vikram Kapur - Group President, ReNew, and Nishant Arya - Vice Chairman, JBM Group.
On 29 January, think tank CEEW convened a leadership roundtable titled “From competition to cooperation: Energy security and sovereignty in a fragmented world,” with 16 discussants. The roundtable examined strategic energy options for emerging markets and developing economies (EMDEs), approaches to balancing energy security with sustainable economic growth, and the role of international cooperation, diversification, and partnerships in strengthening energy sovereignty. Key insights from the discussion will be included in CEEW’s forthcoming report, “One-size-does-not-fit-all: Bespoke national energy pathways for EMDEs,” as part of an ongoing research study with Aramco.
Media coverage was amplified through print advertisements in leading Indian publications and geo-targeted digital campaigns activated throughout the event period. The campaign leveraged a specialist geo-location partner to target key transport hubs, business districts, attendee hotels, and the event venue. Static and video creatives promoted themes like - Upstream Technology, Carbon Capture, OSPAS, Women in STEM, and Synthetic Fuels, across the campaign duration.
Aramco’s Partner Sponsor participation at IEW 2026 supports its commitment to thought leadership, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration in shaping secure, sustainable, and affordable global energy systems.
