Aramco marks successful partnership as sponsor of ICC Men T20 World Cup 2026

The 10th edition of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 was co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8, 2026, featuring 20 countries competing across 55 matches. The tournament followed a multi-stage format, beginning with a group stage comprising of 4 groups of 5 teams each, followed by the Super Eight and knockout rounds, culminating in the Final.
Hosted across iconic venues in both countries, the tournament showcased high-quality cricket, strong fan engagement, further cementing the T20 World Cup’s position as one of the most exciting and widely followed events in international cricket.
Aramco’s global partnership with the ICC, first announced in October 2022, spans major men’s and women’s tournaments across the cricketing calendar till 2027.

As part of its partnership, Abdulrahman Althukair, Aramco Asia India managing director presented the "Aramco Player of the Match" in the group match on 12 February, as well as “Aramco Player of the Match" and “Aramco Player of the Tournament” awards at the final match on March 8 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India. According to ICC, the peak viewership during the final reached 72.5 million, which makes it the most-watched sporting event in history.
Speaking on the occasion, Althukair said, “Our partnership with ICC Men’s T20 World Cup supports Aramco’s commitment to enabling platforms that inspire, connect, and showcase talent. It is rewarding to witness the tournament bring together diverse nations, talent, and millions of fans on a global stage.
