Aramco's global communities

Aramco supports the communities that host its offices around the world — through disaster relief, education, public health, and local development. Aramco's citizenship initiatives reflect a long-term commitment to contribute meaningfully, wherever they operate.

North America

In Houston, home to Aramco's North American operations, Aramco has supported disaster response, housing, and health-focused community programs.

  • Contributed to relief efforts after Hurricane Harvey
  • Packed 300,000 meals for families in need
  • Rebuilt 176 homes through Habitat for Humanity
  • Title sponsor of the Houston Half Marathon
  • Employees participate in the Run for a Reason program, raising awareness and funds for local nonprofits

The Houston Marathon Weekend — including the sponsored half marathon, the Chevron Houston Marathon, and a 5K — draws 25,000 runners and over 200,000 spectators annually.

Europe

In The Hague, Netherlands, Aramco launched the first Aramco Beach Run in 2017, drawing 1,500 participants. Proceeds supported one of the country’s leading paediatric hospitals.

Asia

In South Korea, through the Aramco Scholarship Program and in partnership with the Community Chest of Korea, Aramco supported 86 students with disabilities studying science and engineering.

In Southeast Asia, the Singapore office worked with Habitat for Humanity to improve living conditions in Batam, Indonesia. Between 2016 and 2017, Aramco built 33 durable homes capable of withstanding monsoons as part of the Batam Build Project.
