Aramco Asia India (AAI) partnered with India STEM Foundation (ISF) to set up two state-of-the art STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Tinkering labs (also known as Robo Shiksha Kendra). These labs have been set up in Government Model Sr. Sec. School in Gurugram and Vesawa Vidya Mandir School in Mumbai. Also, as a part of this project, on-grid solar panels with 10KVA output capacity have been set up with net-metering system at the schools. This provides the schools with sustainable renewable energy and enables them to save on electricity costs. This initiative showcases Aramco’s commitment to promoting STEM education and preparing future generations to excel in a rapidly evolving technology-driven world.

Speaking about this initiative, Mr. Mohammed Al Herbish, AAI Managing Director said “At Aramco, we believe that the foundation of innovation lies in fostering creativity and innovation from a young age. These STEM Tinkering Labs are a testament to our commitment to empowering students with the tools and opportunities they require to succeed in a competitive and digitally advanced world.”

“The STEM Tinkering Lab project, in collaboration with Aramco, is a significant step towards empowering young minds with hands-on learning experiences. By fostering innovation, creativity, and critical thinking, we aim to inspire students in Mumbai and Delhi to become future-ready innovators and leaders in STEM fields”, said Mr. Sudhanshu Sharma, Founder, India STEM Foundation.

The STEM Tinkering labs are equipped with advanced tools such as 3D printers, robotics kits, sensors, laptops, processors, circuits boards and components offering students the opportunity to experiment, innovate, and transform ideas into reality. These labs aim to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical application, enabling the students to explore careers in STEM fields.
